Weekend Wamblings - edited to add (ETA) another freebie

Gina Miller has a great Memorial Day freebie on her blog - perfect for military pictures! Thanks Gina!

Found another awesome freebie that I thought you would all want to know about. It's on Meredith Fenwick's blog and it is gorgeous. She also has a sale going on this weekend at SBB.

I originally titled this post "Weekend Ramblings" but then I thought of Elmer Fudd for some reason so I thought it should be "Wamblings" instead. Too silly!

Just some odds and ends today.

Thanks for all the nice comments yesterday on Alex's favorite layout. I read all of them out loud to him and he felt pretty special so thank you if you left a post on this blog or on one of the gallery websites.

A reader asked for advice on the best way to tie ribbon. This is actually something I am not very good at - I have never been able to tie pretty bows! Because this is a weakness of mine, I actually bookmarked a page on Martha Stewart's site with advice on this very subject. Go to Martha's website to see what the expert has to say.

Michelle Coleman is giving away "Good Karma" on her blog.

Lucky Bug Scrapbooking has a new look. Check out the state by state listing of stores!

Jen Caputo (one of my creative team members) has been sharing some awesome sketches on her blog (free download) - love this one!

There are some good sales this weekend on digi stuff so if you need a little enabling here are some links:

Ali Folendore's mini kits on sale for $1

Kristin Cronin-Barrow's designs at The Digi Chick are 30% off. I really love her new Petal Pack!

Andrea Burns at The Digi Chick is having a 40% off sale.

Holly McCaig has a coupon on her blog for 15% off.

And it's been awhile since I've done some of these...

You Belong in 1974

If you scored...

1950 - 1959: You're fun loving, romantic, and more than a little innocent. See you at the drive in!

1960 - 1969: You are a free spirit with a huge heart. Love, peace, and happiness rule - oh, and drugs too.

1970 - 1979: Bold and brash, you take life by the horns. Whether you're partying or protesting, you give it your all!

1980 - 1989: Wild, over the top, and just a little bit cheesy. You're colorful at night - and successful during the day.

1990 - 1999: With you anything goes! You're grunge one day, ghetto fabulous the next. It's all good!

You Are a Smiley Face Cookie

You're happy go lucky. So happy, in fact, it's a little past the point of normal sanity.
You usually make those around you smile ... when you're not creeping them out!

You Are Cream Pie

You're the perfect combo of simplicity and divinity
Those who like you life for understated pleasures

Ok, I think I have got all the important stuff covered now!
